How to Pass the UPTET and Become the Best Teacher
Teaching is actually one of the most underrated professions there is. A lot of people devalue the worth and importance of a teacher as to compare to other professions like being a doctor or a barrister, but little did they realize that teaching is as important, or even more. Just think about it, how can this world survive if we don’t have teachers? How can the world produce doctors, plane pilots, engineers, journalists, or any profession at all, if these professionals didn’t have a single teacher who taught them and inspired them to become who they are right now? Everybody needs a touch of a teacher. There was even one philosopher who eloquently said once, that if we want to change the world, you need to start from one teacher at a time.
With that being said, how can we start with one teacher at a time? That is basically one of the many reasons why we have standardized tests and examinations for aspiring teachers. These tests are not only held to qualify or disqualify aspiring teachers to the path where they want to go, but these tests are designed to maintain the standards and efficiency of the profession. In other words, these tests are conducted to ensure that the people whom we left in charge of the student’s future are not only committed to teaching but also have everything of what it takes to become a teacher.
One of those significant eligibility tests for teachers is the UPTET or the Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test in India. The screening process of this entire examination is done by the Uttar Pradesh Education Board. The main purpose of this test is to screen teacher candidates for recruitment for a primary level or Class I to V and the upper primary level or the class VI and VIII in the entire country.
No matter what course you have undergone from any university in India, you must undergo the UPTET examination if you want to invade government teaching positions and actually be considered recruited. But, don’t fret. One of the greatest things about these examinations is that they are so connected and available online. Government agencies are inviting direct applications online. And speaking of online, UPTET review and mock test papers are posted online. So, you really wouldn’t need to enroll in a proper school because there are tons of review centers and community and web pages for review and UPTET assessment.
